dear all,
My sister in law Lisa has just been diagnosed with colon cancer after a
suspected bowel obstruction.
The obstruction was an adenocarcinoma. the surgeon took 90% of her colon
and she has metastasis to the lymph nodes and liver. She is recovering from
the surgery now. We hope she is coming home from hospital at the end of
this week. Her oncologist wants to start chemotherapy in two weeks. He is
going to use one drug injected each day for five days. etc. Is this the
right therapy? The entire family is prepared to do whatever is necessary to
keep her with us. She is only 35yrs old.
Thanks for listening
Marianne
