I was told by my mothers physician that she has the same type of cancer you
are speaking of. I however know nothing about it. Could you please email me
with all the info you may have. I will give you what I know about my mothers
case.
~She had a mastectomy Oct 95 and done 6 mths of hard chemo.( 3 kinds mixed
together).
~Oct 97 her CEA started going back up at a rapid rate.Oct was 3.9
~Feb 17,98 CEA was 26.2
~Bone scan showed on her arm and finger and hand
~CT showed in her lungs several places
~her ONC Dr is not treating this aggressively.
~She is also a MS(Mulitple Sclerosis) patient for over 25 years.
~She now only weighs 114 pounds
~ They want to start tamoxifen for 3 months.
We are concerned that the tamoxifen will not work fast enough for the rate
this stuff is spreading and growing.
Any thoughts or info would be truly appreciated.
