Re: [MOL] Adenocarcinoma

I saw that Bob has already responded to your message asking for some
additional information to be better able to guide you. In general, I am a
cancering survivor of adenocarcinoma. Mine was of the lung and I had my
right lung removed Nov. 3, 1997.
I will be happy to help and guide you in any way that I can. I know that
what you are going through right now is shock and fear.

First of all let me tell you that cancer does not have to mean death and
that is the first thing that all of us, our families and our friends tend to
think when the diagnosis is cancer. Then as the cancer is defined it will
become more frightening and it will all feel like you are on a whirling
merry go round and you will find yourselves flying through whatever they
recommend to do. Let me suggest that you allow someone to guide you and
show you how to do research so that you will be better equipped and feel a
little more in control. For me one of the worst things was when I allowed
myself to feel victimized.

There are many here who will be happy to help you and many here who will be
a great comfort and support, so please keep us posted as you learn more.
May God be with you... Carla
