To all my friends on mol,
I received a telephone call this afternoon from Ron. He is in the
hospital (private room with refrigerator!), in the process of receiving
treatment and doing very well. The speaker system is still driving him
mad, but considering the number of times he was interrupted by staff, I
would say he is being catered to. His physician mentioned last night
that the treatment being administered had an over 60% success rate.
There is every reason to believe that our Ron will beat this monster yet!
He wishes to be remembered to all and I wish to add that his speaking
voice is as rich and discriptive as his written prose!!!
I also got a message from Sylvia (Lizabeth's friend in Texas). She is
well and wishes to express a warm Texan howdie to all her mol friends.
Lizabeth is doing o.k. with the exception of a hackling cough. She is
tolerating the chemo fairly well and is happy to have the support of all
on this web. Sylvia has been very busy but hopes to be able to return to
all her friends here soon.
Please keep Ron, Sylvia, and Lizabeth in your thoughts and prayers that
they continue to progress in their journey of recovery. God Bless them
and all on this site.
John
