Dear John M,
Just wanted to put my two cents in and say I agree completely...you never
know what the out come will be. After all it is in the hands of God.
All we can do is speak from the past and come up with statistics. That
does not reflect the power of human faith and will to live. There are
many on this site who are examples of that. Giving in or up is not part
of the battle plan in fighting this disease.
I had a 50/50 shot and came out a 99.9% winner (lost my nose for a tenth
of a percent :#) I had alot of people praying for me and giving me the
strength to go and fight the fight. I was ready to die but knew I would
win deep in the fiber of my being. I think that's what it
takes...knowing that you will beat the odds because you have total faith
in the outcome.
So, keep praying and kee the faith. God Bless you and your Father...I'll
be praying for you both.
