My dear friend, I for one cannot blame you one
iota! I was the same when I went in the hospital, I wanted a private room
and I was so glad to have it. For me it was just preference of not wanting
to put up with anothers physical, emotional, visitations etc., to say
nothing of the bathroom and the t.v., ..
In your case it is even more imperative due to your
reason for stay. As it is, I don't think they clean hospitals as well as
they used to. I sort of felt like the one who said at the hotel I will be
staying here for a few days and they decided I could make my own bed and I
didn't need clean sheets since it was me sleeping in the bed again.. And to be
honest, they were the best about the bed...it was the bathroom that upset
me.... I had to keep asking to get it cleaned and I think that in the 4
days they only cleaned it good once... so hold to your guns, unless you know it
is time to give in.
I truly believe that we always have the right to fight
for what we believe in, but we have to know all on our own if the price is too
high and you will know that my dear friend. I will say prayers for you
first and foremost for the blood test and then for the private room. Now
if you do go in and stay, please have someone let us know so we know not to
stress ..OK?
I am glad you ranted and raved it out. I guess
everyone is starting to realize that I am sensitive and as such worry about it
when I think people here are upset. I am actually thicker skinned than it
looks like! LOL! I love you friend and am with you all the
