Dear Torie
I'm so sorry you are having one lousy week. Since you can't take the
estrogen, what about melatonin. Ask your ONC about taking that,
it is suppose to have cancer "fighting agents" in it and also estrogen,
maybe a different kind that wouldn't effect the chemo. There have
been studies done on melatonin, I can't remember the details, but
maybe your ONC would know or find out for you. The U of Texas
has a site for "alternative treatments for cancer" and that may have
been one of the places I read about it. (that is the only location that
the Office of Alternative Medicine has given grant for alternatives for
cancer, some of the info is outdated, but it's still the only one that
I know of.
Take care Torie and you are in my thoughts
God Bless
Diana
