Welcome back, John. Thank you for your good wishes and prayers.
You wicked man, catching a bug. Sorry to hear that. Almost everyone I know has
caught a bug in the last month or so. With my present count -- see my report!
-- I suppose I had better be careful, though my general doctor told me at the
outset that one need not panic if one's white cells are above 1,000. They are
above 2,000, but that doesn't please me because it means a drop of 4,000 since
I last saw him. Of course that was soon after a neupogen fest. Soy milk, soy
milk, soy milk! Not to mention sprouts, broccoli, carrots, celery, parsley
(sage rosemary and thyme).
So look after yourself. I am full of valium still from this morning's
injection, and have already sent a report to mol that is probably redolent of
the stuff. So pardon me if I just say hi, get better, shape up. I was worried
about you too, since I knew you were scheduled to skate, amuse young persons
and blow up balloons and things, not to mention study matters Eastern, and I
thought you might have got swept away on a magic carpet. Better luck next
time!
God bless
-- Ron
