[MOL] Re: Pix of Barb and I

My Dear Friends, I believe Carla said we should write to our
congressspokespeople. Well I have been in touch and writing to two
wonderful ladies, one of whom is a congressperson in California and who
has successfully led a battle to procure funds to try and find methods
to detect ovarian cancer. Since Ovarian is not a detectable disease as
may be breast or prostate is the reason why it is one type of cancer
that has hit so many women in stages that are beyond stage I for
example. Yes, I do encourage all to write to their spokespeople or
representatives because some or many do listen as does Deborah Ortiz and
SAlly Espinoza. They are our champions and do work very hard. I believe
Deborah was able to succeed in procuring about 29 million dollars for
research into Ovarian disease detection, last year.

So, it is our duty to progress in whatever means possible and I do
support these great ladies and it is so good to hear great results
coming from our efforts to encourage and articulate our concerns. They
are being heard. Thank you Carla for your message.

God Bless
marty
