Carla (and Firefly) -- It's possible that your MRI brain scan is just
routine. I had a brain MRI plus a lot of other tests before my lung
surgery last June; and brain (not MRI), bone and chest scans last week
following the completion of chemo. The recent scans are benchmarks,
according to the doctor, for use as comparisons down the road. I gather
future scans will show up a problem if one develops. My oncologist
phoned with the results even though I'll be seeing him this Friday.
Carla, couldn't you ask your doctor to call you after such a test? I
think most doctors are willing to do this for their patients. We have
enough on our minds!
