Well Hi There Carla,
You have been so very busy...the most I could do was sit in the
background. There are so many new people here it does my heart good...and
you have been doing a great job!
Please don't feel ignorant! I just happened to be in the right place at
the right time. I was watching tv one night and caught Larry King
interviewing Sam Donaldson, the newscaster and cancer survivor, about the
March on Washington to raise awareness about the need for additional
support of Cancer Research to eradicate the disease. Those also involved
are Scott Hamilton, Mike Milken, Cindy Crawford, Andria Jaeger, Harry
Belafonte, and Norman Schwarzkopf (except Andria, all cancer survivors).
It is scheduled for September of this year and you can call
1-888-937-6227 (toll free) and they will send an informational packet.
I'm glad to hear that you are interested and hope that others from this
great site will get involved. It can only serve to help our journey.
God Bless All and lets keep up the great work of helping and supporting
each other (and therefore ourselves!).
John
