I had surgury for lung cancer 9/10. Two lobes (middle and lower) were
removed from the right lung. The surgeon went through the ribs on my side
- one rib had to be broken. I still have discomfort and was advised by my
doctor that I would feel discomfort for many months because of this type of
surgury. I am currently getting a lot of discomfort from the nerves
regenerating.
Do you know what stage the doctor said you were in? How long ago did you
have the operation? I am no doctor, but from my research so far I would
think that you were caught early and if the lymph nodes are benign, you are
indeed lucky - thank God. What kind of follow up has your doctor advised?
Write soon - Barbara
