Others can probably answer this question better than I. I only know that
they are not the same drug. What the difference is and why one is
suggested over the other, I don't know.
Good luck to you and your brother. Please keep us updated - I also had
(hopefully past tense) lung cancer and am trying to determine what kind of
followup treatment - if any - would be best.
