My husband is 29 and has been ill since oct 9th. doctors have been unable
to diagnos him as of yet . The latest internist feels he may have
pancreatic cancer and we are waiting for a CT scan which will be a while
still. These are his symptoms : He started feeling like he had the flu in
oct with severe back pain. He vomits daily and has lost 38 pounds. His back
is worse after eating and he immediately vomits. He is nauseas all the time
and is pale. He suffers from chills and his lymph nodes in the neck,
armpits and groin area are palpable now. He has foul smelling stool which
contains streaks of blood and a mucous looking substance. The worst is the
pain in the lower back , he is unable to stand for more then 1/2 hour. Upon
a barium meal they found inflamation in the duodenum, stomach and an
enlarged spleen, but blood tests have been clear so far. His stomach feels
crampy as if he is going to have diarhea but does not have this. It also
feels bloated and distends sometimes. It is sore to touch near the appendix
area although he has had these removed. I am hoping someone can read these
symptoms and give us some suggestions as he is getting worse each day, and
