I spoke with Alec's Mom in Nanaimo last night. She said most of their snow
was being rained away. They were supposed to go to one granddaughter's
house for Christmas Eve but couldn't get out because of the icy roads.
There are so many hills there, I wouldn't want to be driving on them. Have
