Re: [MOL] no guts..cheesecake!/Joan

Yes, I would love to have the recipe Joan...  I am now baking cheesecake number two and I am not happy with the first, so soon I will be on cheesecake number three!  My problem is in the crust... Maybe its time to buy a graham cracker crust for tonight and then keep working on the secret to a good crust....  :-)  Thanks, I will look forward to your recipe and any crust clues!!  May God Bless you!  Carla

Carla, I have a wonderful rum raisin cheesecake recipe--Do you want it? It makes a huge one. Just the thing for church potlucks--just kidding. I too love to try new things when I'm having a crowd--we must be the daring ones. Joan

Okay all you Betty Crockers out there in the mol world...  I just baked my first cheesecake a Raspberry Swirl...  I think I have my crust a little too crunchy, but it smells wonderful...  Next I am on to try an Apple Caramel cheesecake...  I am baking for the church Christmas party tomorrow night and I always experiment when I have company or cook for others...!! No guts, no glory...  Also, I figure that no one will complain too much...  LOL!!  Any suggestions on the crunch factor on the crust??  ..maybe too much margerine?? Marty, I won't eat any!!  You can count on that!! ROTFLOL!! I am gutsy, but not stupid!! LOL!!   I am thinking of you all and send you my love and hugs... I am now going to try to read through the 112 messages of today and see if I can respond..  before I make the next cheesecake that is!! If I get good at this, I will have to buy another spring form pan!  Right!!! Love and hugs, Carla the Cheesecake Queen!!    Not!!
