Re: [MOL] CARLA!! (and Lilllian and Marty,et al)

Dear Torie,

1-To get the names of 2nd opinions that are on the National Cancer
Institute list, just call 1-800-4cancer. The person that you will be
speaking with is very knowledgable, caring and will provide you with
much verbal and written information, about 2nd opinions in your area.
The reason I like the names on their list is that they are very
comprehensive hospitals, say as Sloan Kettering, or Mayo or MD Anderson
as they have doctors and the facilities to provide trials, research, and
protocal for almost every diagnosis, where say your doctor and hospital
is limited.

The option of waiting, is not a good option, in my view as it tends to
open up doors to metatstasis and then the form of treatment becomes more
complicated in the overall picture to healing.

Pls know that there are many studies available and treatments for every
malignancy. Continue to prod onward, to find the right one for you and
never, ever give up. There are just too many miracle stories. My wife
is one and I have, blessedly, encountered many, many more. You will be
one as well and you are one heck of a survivor. Continue on, Torie, the
benefits to being determined are fruitful.

God Bless
marty auslander
