Hi all of you dear Mol Angels,
I just wanted to let you know that I left for
Oklahoma last Friday to see my dad in the
hospital.
I am sorry that I left everyone hanging; time got
away from me and I was on the plane before
I knew it!!!! It took me three days to line things
up around here so I could leave since my
husband won't be home til tomorrow.
My dad is doing well and is home after almost two
weeks in the hospital.
His vital signs are great and the internal
bleeding has stopped. Don't know it he is going to
take any other form of chemo yet but they will
decide on that 12/7. The hospital was
wonderful and they took excellent care of my dad.
I did ask his onc why they didn't give
my dad a physical before starting any chemo
treatments since one side effect could be
gastrointestinal hemmoraging. His reply was:
"Well, hindsight is 20/20" WHAT A PITA!!!
Of course, after I cornered him like that he began
to take me a little more seriously and
started giving me and my family intelligent
answers...
Thankyou all so very much for all of your support
during this critical time for my dad. Your
kind words and prayers meant alot to my family and
most especially my dad and me. He said
to tell you all once again how much your letters
of support meant to him. He couldn't
believe how so many wonderful people from all over
the world cared enough to send him
letters of support and prayers and jokes....
It is still touch and go but he is feeling better
with each passing day. If any of you would like
to send me letters for my dad, Jim Wright, I will
be sure to send them to him. They certainly
brighten his day and let him know that he is not
alone.
I hope that all of you had a wonderful
Thanksgiving and that you are all receiving God's
blessings. My prayers go out to you and yours
everyday.
Thank you once again, you helped us get through
this, believe me :)
