[MOL] Christine,Kathy,Lil,Martha

Kathy, how old did you say, 39? With silver streaks? I am now 56 but have
only a few stands of white. I had been hoping to get a white streak, but
don't have the widow's peak to show it to best advantage.. think we have to
get into our 90's until we get silver hair.

Radio! that was the best, used to be quite a family thing, listening to the
radio. Of course, up north where we lived, we had only the (memory lapse
here, you would get BBC and Argentina or China or weird places like that).
There was only one really powerful radio station, the Canadian Broadcasting
system. Skits, comedy, music, I doubt you recognize them as they are
Canadian. Can you name a few of the ones you remember. Bet some of us will
remember them. Ever listen to CBC, Christine, they are still worth
listening. Do you ever watch "Air Farce"? They were on radio way before
they were on TV. I watch them religously.

Birdie perching with her mate, we removed the perches but left the swinging
one. Saw her climbing up the cage with here teeth and practically had a
heart attack but she made it onto the swinging perch. We bought a little
bird "condo" which she loves. Martha, we talked with one of the breeders
and he says some breeders will "line breed", matching sister to brother.
Did not approve of it as it seems the progeny are not as strong.
Ever hear of this?

Thinking of your little dog, Norman, Kathy, does he wear T-shirts? We are
going on a long walk into the forest this afternoon and if it rains, we
take along a garbage bag to put on the dog. This reminded me of a big hairy
dog we saw on one of the walks we were on. He had on one of "Run for the
Cure" T-shirts and he was obsese as well as big and hairy. I got such a
kick out of watching him walk from behind that I kept urging James to hurry
up so we would not lose sight of the dog. Did you know that Lil keeps a
goat(s)?

Lil, glad to see you back, are you watching the ice skating yet. Skate
America is on and I hope Alexi and Elvis do well after their groin
injuries. We had a goat cheese salad the other day and it was delicious.
What animals do you have, or do you need any cuddly types as your family is
so numerous. You must get a lot of hugs.
God Bless, Jeanne
