Liz: Oh, good! I'm glad you meant me! I hate the Blues in the winter, too. I've had a couple of hair-raising experiences going through them on the way to Boise. This when we lived in Oregon but our families were still in Idaho. Now we're in Idaho, and my daughter is in Oregon! March is sort of a blah month around here -- it'd be great to have something to look forward to then. We could meet in Baker -- or in Boise. Whatever. There'd probably be more to do in Boise, but I do enjoy Baker, too. It's a nice, little town. Let's keep this in mind. It would be fun. What do you think, Gail? How about you, Pam? -- Kathy in Boise

Kathy,
I meant you but I spelled your name wrong. (40 lashes with a wet
noodle). I think there is a very good chance I can meet you in the
spring, if it works for your schedule. I will probably drive over to
see my sister during spring break, the last week of March. She lives up
by Sun Valley and her kids live in Boise. I drive right through Boise a
couple of times a year. For you and Gail and I to get together the mid
point would be in (about) Baker, OR. I just am not crazy about driving
the Blues in the winter. The last time I went to my sister's for
Thanksgiving I swore I would never drive that trip again after November
1. It was horrendous.

you're right. As soon as November comes, travel is pretty much limited

</smaller>Hi Lillian,
I can assure you have been missed by everyone. (Even the new people,
but
they don't know it yet). It sounds like you and Carla and Nance have
had a
terrific time. That is so great. It must be wonderful to meet some of
the
people you have been hearing from for all this time. I have been trying
to
figure out how Gail and Cathy and I could meet, (and any one I might
have
left out that lives in this Northwest area. With winter coming on It
will
probably not happen this fall.
I am glad you are back, and I hope you are able to keep that computer
up
and running.
