Hi PJ, The reason that the ct was bumped was probably form residual barium from the test she had on Wednesday. If thick barium is still in her colon, it will cause artifacts on the ct and they will not be able to see anything because of streaking. I would think that they would have given her some laxatives and pushed fluids to get it out. Ask her primary care doc and don't let that other fool tell you not to call!
