Laura,
I feel your pain and confusion. Hopefully, with your Mom in the hospital,
they will be able to get to the root of her problems and ease her
discomfort. Just keep asking the doctors questions until you get the
answers you need. Tell them you want to be called about any decisions that
need to be made. Sometimes you have to be assertive to get what you want
and need.
The question of when her time has come is not in our hands. I pray for the
strength to accept God's will, whatever that may be. Who says she can't
live AND be free from pain. Try to maintain a positive attitude. Will pray
for you both.
