Thought you would like to know the following. This message is a special

thank you,to all those that attended the march on SEpt 26th in

Washington. I know there are severaly here, my Brother JOhn, who

participated and there may be others. If not for their presence and the

multitude of many, then our voices would be weak in the arena of

fighting this disease. So congratulations and a good job done.

After a year and a half of planning, the first large scale, mainstream,

corporate/celebrity/politician-dominated march on Washington for cancer

was held September 26. Press accounts placed the attendance at 100,000

or more, although Patti Stiewing, an independent observer on the scene,

wrote that the turnout was "underwhelming."
