Hi, Liz: She was a priss, wasn't she? I can't remember her name! It's probably just as well. So you're a teacher? I'm a probate paralegal, so about the only thing I learned in college that has helped in my profession was my English training. The rest of it -- Latin, shorthand, typing, etc., I learned in high school! I wasn't cut out to be a teacher, but I enjoy what I do very much. I meet wonderful people and I'm able to help them when they're confused and bereaved. Makes me feel needed and this is something I need! I admire teachers, though. Their patience and dedication are admirable traits. I have a friend who is a junior high orchestra teacher. He's semi-homicidal most of the time, poor guy!! By the way, I was in "Pajama Game," understudy to the lead and Girl 1. Told you I was a terrible actress! -- Kathy in Boise

Hi Kathy,
I remember Professor Bilyeau very well. However, the only musical I
was in was Lil Abner, and that was before your time. I took lots of
speech and oral interp classes and Survey courses in English and
American Lit. I took Shakespeare, but I think it was in the summer of
'63, just before I graduated and left for Washington to teach. I was
back in summer school there during the summer of '64.
I always lived off campus in an apartment. I couldn't quite deal with
the dorm mother at Gravely. She was just too much of a priss.
