Re: [MOL] Liz'a Cat.

That is a wonderful story! I love all sorts of animals myself, and
understand how therapeutic they can be for us humans as Norman was to you.
I had a little half Jack Russell/half Rat Terrier named Rags for three
years. Some would say that it's strange to let a pet sleep with you but
not me - she slept with me all the time, under the covers. She was my
constant companion. I even chose locations to live based on her happiness!
The most loyal creature, human or otherwise, that I have ever known. She
did the same thing whenever I left her, and would fast until my return, so
I never did after the first experience with that. She had a larger
wardrobe than I did! She was killed at a tender age in June by a
rattlesnake - the vet could do nothing and my life has not been the same
since. I just pet my family's dogs now instead of getting another. Kathy,
you sound like my dad when he was in the hospital! He also has a special
puppy that he kept wanting smuggled in. I am so proud of your husband and
nurse for doing that for you! That is great!
