The program at USC was introduced to me by a top
oncologist at UCSD that I was fortunate to
meet through my boss. The program started three
weeks ago with a process call leucopheresis.
You sit for two hours and blood is drawn from one
are, run thru a machine to collect the
white cells and then an IV received the remaining
blood back into my system. 9 days later,
I had a three hour procedure where an IV is put in
for saline solution and then the injection
thru the IV of a small bag of my conditioned white
cells vaccine.

I will have another inoculation in one week from
today. Then wait 2 weeks for CT Scan to measure
if I am responding. You will get a big chill thru
the cosmic pipeline when I get positive results.

  Sounds like you could

I can always use support. The scare in this whole
thing is that one will find a treatment
that you respond to positively before time runs
out.

  I know how

You hit it on the head. I carry around this
fear. I DO NOT dwell on it, however. Sometimes a
rush
of despair comes over me and I break into tears.
This happens about three or four times a week. If
you
had a drill or technique to deal with this that
you discovered, please share it with me.

I know I will pray for you.

It is incredible that one day after plugging into
this network, I have wonderful and total strangers
offer their unselfish support, including prayers.
Thank you.
