I do know a little about throat cancer, there is a cure for it, if it is
detected early. The symptoms are, hoarseness that does not resolve in 1
to 2 weeks, sore throat, neck pain, difficulty swallowing, swelling of
the neck, weight loss, coughing, coughing up blood and abnormal (high
pitched) breathing sounds. I hope your grandmother is all right, but I
would bring her to a doctor if you haven't allready. This kind of
cancer is most common and before doctors can detect it, it can spread
and have already caused the damage. My aunt had throat cancer, so I've
picked up a lot of little details I never would have known. GOOD LUCK!!
