Lillian,
Thanks for asking, Mom is doing OK she is continuing both therapies. Side
effects: she has had only (only?!) extreme exhaustion, and a yeast infection
(when my son was little he had same, called thrush...) in her mouth. I have
been so busy with work, some church activities and son's activities (mom's
taxi) that I have not kept in touch as I should. I think about calling her
when I finally come in around 9:00 and she has been going to bed about that
time, and she said sometimes earlier. I hate to wake her so I just think I'll
call tomorrow. I guess I should find a phone where I can call long distance
from work (same town opposite sides) BUT, my husband sees her daily and gives
me miniscule reports. He is being so good to help Mom but the communication I
think it is kind of one of those "male issues". (Sorry Les, John etc.) I
can't just zip by there on one of my jaunts, because I have taken a bit of a
cold.
She sees the oncologist again tomorrow (before chemo), so I will again see
what I can glean from Jack (my husband) and hopefully will know more tomorrow.
I am b e h i n d on reading posts, but have read some (especially the
jokes, since I am squeezing in reading time in morning the humor is great way
to start the day.) There have been some really good jokes THANKS to all who
have tickled my funny bone, and maybe some day I'll get caught up and will be
able to tickle ya back!
I should go, and so I will, (not often that I do the things that I should you
see I am a real believer...ooops not doing what I should again #=^ )
Again Lil thanks for asking and thanks to all mols who are here and have my
mom and me (and family) in their prayers - as I do them,
Sure love all of you {{{{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}},
Lee Anne
