I received a phone call from Marty this morning and
Barb's brother; Dean Fritz, age 58 died last night from a massive heart
attack. I told Marty that many had posted that they were keeping them in
their prayers and he wanted to be sure that you all knew how much they
appreciated that.
He said that they now understand that this is part of
the reason why their plans changed on their trip and they ended up in Tennessee,
as they were able to spend time with Dean then.. Marty said that Dean was
never married, and had no children, however he was such a wonderful man that he
is blessed by so many friends. Barbara has 7 brothers and Marty was
picking up one of them at the airport when he called. He said that the layout
would probably be Tuesday and the funeral Thursday. He was not sure when
they would return home.
He wanted to be sure that you all knew that he and Barb
were doing fine and that this was turning into a true celebration of life, due
to the type of man that Dean was and that there would be many blessings coming
to all this week as they celebrated him.
I hope that we will all keep Barb, Marty and the family
and friends lifted to God that indeed this will be the blessing of the
celebration of a good mans life.. Love to you all,
