Dear Annie,
I suggest that you call the National Cancer Institute at 1-800-4CANCER.
They can help in guiding you to the latest in clinical trials and where
they are being offered. You will find many loving and supportive people
here who can advise and direct you. I am a one and a half year cancer
survivor and the most important element of recovery is to keep faith in
the knwledge that you can beat cancer and hope that all the treatments
and positive actions will produce results. There are many books that
help one to cope both as a cancer patient and a care giver. I strongly
suggest reading Greg Andersons "The 50 Essential Things to do When the
Diagnosis is Cancer". It is a fast reading and short guide to the things
to do and the path to follow in recovering from cancer.
Please stay with us and know that you and your Aunt will be in my prayers
and thoughts. God Bless
John
