Re: [MOL] Breast Cancer/NO NO NO!

Hi Sylvia

I already tried faking that I found something. Actually my GYN did the faking
and my primary doc said to see him and he looked and said "SORRY NOTHING IS
THERE". My GYN is a good friend and she is calling the HMO for me. She
really is a sweetie. She also gave me the name of her personal doc, but
unfortunately he is not on my HMO plan.
I do have an alternative- I can have my GYN become my primary but I still need
to have an internist on my plan. So I have some way out of this mess.
Thank you everyone for your help it is much appreciated.
I often think all of you as beautiful multi colored ROSES and I'm the thorne.
hehehoho

Some news on mom- is feeling good she started her chemo again last week (I
lost track on the number she has had to date) and she has had no side effects
with this round of 5FU.
In fact, she cleaned her condo for the 1st time since being diagnosed. WHAT A
WOMAN. But they chopped up her veins. They want to put a port for the chemo
to go in (her chest area). I don't like this idea but she says her arms look
like a golf coarse holes. The hospital where she receives chemo (FLA POMPANO
MEDICAL) is closing and all the wondeful nurses there have been giving pink
slips. She and I are so sad at this. This group has been wonderful to her.
What's that old saying "NOTHING GOOD LASTS FOREVER". They seem to keep the
bad and dirty hospitals but this beautiful hospital will close forever.
sorry for lashing out.
Love, Hugs, Kisses
PJ
