My dads onc did the same thing. The problem is...he's like the only one is
these parts. As soon as he found out that my dad's liver had more than one
spot on it from the mets, he told him that he should stop chemo. My dad is
having NO side effects from the 5FU and told him if the 5% chance was all
he had, to keep up the chemo indefinately! I really wish that he'd go off
somewhere and talk to an onc with a positive outlook. This guy is
depressing because he is so blunt and matter of fact. Won't even hardly
discuss options like intra-hepatic chemo, etc. Makes me mad but my dad is
a very tolerant man.
