the angel food cake thing really does work at curbing mother's hunger and the
pureed fruit helps with the constipation some of the pain meds bring. of
course I am only speaking from the vantage point of lung, breast and primary
liver CA.
Mother also used to take large doses of prednisone for connective/collagen
tissue disease (related to lupus). That in turn increased her appetite and
weight gain. It took about a year for the moon faced-weight gain to go away.
