Re: [MOL] You are an Inspiration

Marty,
Thank you for the kind words. When I saw the subject line of your post,
I thought, "I'm sure this must be about Lillian or Carla or....not me."
Funny, huh? Guess I still have lots more work to do on building up my
self-esteem and overcoming the depression. Saw the psychiatrist today
and he said I need to keep working on getting together w/friends, etc. I
told him how zapped of energy I've been feeling (and had a headache,
too). He said that it sounds like I'm allergic to the ragweed by the way
I was clearing my throat periodically. Guess I am. Allergic to tree
pollen, too, so I guess I get zapped twice. Oh well...

I'm glad the good news about Annie is encouraging to everyone. I feel
good about it. And I *will* keep you posted on Annie's progress. How
often will she have to go back for check-ups now that the chemo is over?
Any recommendations for what to do now, if anything? Still don't know
anything about Mom's lump on her thyroid, and my mother-in-law's biopsy
is coming up. And then I have to have that yukky sigmoidoscopy done. :-(
So I'm not going anywhere. :-)

By the way, I got a good laugh this morning. Michael was suffering again
w/a "glad to see you" type problem he gets occasionally :-). I asked him
if it was giving him trouble and I told him that there's nothing he can
do for it, it's just natural. Then Shannon shrugged and piped up in a
matter-of-fact tone, "Oh well, that's life!" I thought her lack of
empathy was pretty funny. :-) P.S. I asked Tom to help out & he told
Michael (who had just awakened) to go use the potty. Afterwards, Michael
was in awe of the remarkable physical change that took place! (Even I
was impressed by it! I picked up some new information today. ;-))

-Jean
