I researched SIUH and the Body RadioSurgery treatment. It sounds very
promising. In fact, I contacted them to find out if they would consider
doing this type of radiation in my case (small cell lung cancer) in lieu
of the standard which I probably will be receiving. Dr. Grossman (Dr.
Lederman's
associate) called me and took the time to have a long chat with me about
my case.
I was extremely impressed with her. Unfortunately, I am not a candidate
for body radiosurgery because my tumors are not localized and they are
too bulky.
But If I qualified for this treatment, I would much prefer it to the
standard.
Hope all goes well. In fact, I'm sure it will. I will be thinking about
you and
praying for you.
