My dad was in the same boat - little older (62); excellent health; high
fiber/low fat diet.  Your friend is fortunate that he went for a checkup in
time.  Four years ago, the doctors here removed his gall bladder due to
rectal bleeding, etc.  (the same symptoms that convinced them that he now
has metastisized colon cancer).  And they want us to trust them!~  Pam
