I, too, have sclc- limited stage. I was dx in Oct of 97. I have had six cycles
of carbo/vp16 with concurrent radiation. The only side effect from the
radiation for me was extreme fatigue. The two therapies succeeded in reducing
my tumor by more than 60%. I will be going for a ct the end of this month to
see if there has been any further change. I also plan to have prophylactic
cranial irradiation in Oct..

As you have probably I am a proponent of the radiation. I truly believe the
two therapies did their work! I feel good and am back at work. Each new day is
such a blessing.
