My father was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas in October. He is
71 years old and has received three Gemzar chemo treatments. He is
scheduled to begin radiation on Monday along with the Gemzar. Do you
have any information that could be helpful? He is continuing to lose
weight and experience nausea.
He is being treated at a major university medical center here in
Michigan so they appear to have all the latest treatment information.
But I am concerned with there being no one who is accountable for his
treatment as it is a university. We have asked one person in radiology
if they would be our contact person and they have agreed to sort of
coordinate things for us. Do you have any suggestions?
