Dear Sally,
I am sorry to hear the news but glad that you are being strong and
positive. It is so important to Charlie's recovery that you remain
strong. I had stage 4 cancer of the nose and mouth and had my nose and
upper jaw removed at surgery in March of this year. I went through 37
treatments of radiation, the most difficult part was being totally
exhausted the last week. I feel great and have been back at work since
September. So, if I'm any example, there is always hope! By the way, I
sing to my kids at night and even with the microsurgery to graft a new
jaw for me and a fake nose, I think I sound better now than before...I
hit the higher ranges with more ease!
Will keep you both in my prayers. God Bless,
John
