Thanks to all in the group who wrote.  The tumor is malignant, so they did
no more surgery than the biopsy.  Will begin radiation in the next few days.
I have about a million questions for the Oncologist, and we'll be
participating in this group as well.

I'm over the shock and happy that we can pursue radiation.  The surgery
would have involved taking some tongue possibly and jaw reconstruction.  Bad
for a singer....  Any comments you pros have for us rookies will be greatly
