Carol, I can't answer your questions; but someone will. Hang in there for
your friend, just listen to her and go with her to drs. appts; etc. A good
friend by your side is the best medicine there is. Make sure she's going to
the right doctor, that she trusts what her body tells her.
You will both find many friends on this net that give of themselves daily to
help all cancer survivors.
