Dear Diana,

It is very and vitally important that your Brother does not lose weight
and keeps up his strength even though he may not be able to eat 3 full
dinners, then maybe 6 little ones or 8 little ones a day. I say this
from experience, that the immune system needs nourishment. Its amazaing
that chemotherapy helps us to reduce tumors but in a way if we don't
support the other areas that are not affected, then side effects such as
dehydration, and liver and kidney toxicity occur. So its important to
drink as much fluids, especially with navelbine and cisplatin as they
are very toxic to kidneys, and to eat nutritiously in order to maintain
a balance of proper immune system strength and nourishment.

God Bless YOu
