Dear Joanne,

Yikes, I am only 7 days in responding to this and your needs. Pls
forgive me as I, we have been away and I have been catching up on my
e-mails and trying to post things that I thought were important to many
and yet failed to see your message. Pls forgive me.

JOanne, I don't know where you are located, but we have had great
experience with second opinion doctors who feel they can be very
positive, energetic, aggressive with treatments to fight the disease
similarly to your Mothers.

I will e-mail you personally about one particular doctor who is the
director of a regional cancer center that is in affiliation with U.S.C
who is brilliant and a specialist in advanced breast cancer. We also
know some doctors in Newport Beach, at HOag Memorial and at U.C.L.A. and
U.C.I. who are performing not only stereotactic radiosurgery for brain
tumors, but also proton radiation which has been very successful for
brain tumors.

So, pls stay encouraged and positive. I know how difficult it is for all
during these trying times, for you as the caregiver and to start the
process of learning and educating and researching, but pls feel assured
that we all, on this discussion group, have learned and are willing to
provide you with much information and encouragment to guide you through
these times. Pls use us as your venting and emotional support. If you
wish, pls e-mail me personally and I will provide you with more
information to help you in terms of conventional and alternative
experiences we have incurred during our wellness journey.

Take care and God Bless YOu Joanne.

Marty and Barb Auslander
