Dear Firefly:

I don't know if this will be of any help other than support, however,
I have taken tamoxifen for almost five years. I haven't had the
swelling you indicated in the brain, however, recently, my thyroid
levels were off enough for the doctor to increase the synthroid
medication that I have been taking for some time now. My levels are
now back to normal, however, I can't help but think the tamoxifen,
inconjunction with everything else, and a possible change of life,
caused some of my medical problems this spring and summer.

Please e-mail me at pkmikec@netusa1.net if you want to talk further.

GodBless,
