Out of debate comes truth and understanding. I do agree totally with
what you have said. If there were truly "a best" it would be the only
one around. The fact is, my cancer (rare for my age and occupation) was
discovered and confirmed by biopsy at a local community general hospital
that is the only one around for miles and has a lousy reputation. It was
certainly good enough and astute enough for me to pick up what other
"better" providers had not only missed but even misdiagnosed!

The "best" hospital/doctor/treatment for each of us is the one that works
for us and in which we have faith, trust, and confidence. Without that,
even the "best" will never be enough. Again, you have raised an
important distinction for us and one that we all need to keep in mind
when trying to fight this terrible disease.

Thank you and God Bless,
John
