You are very correct in your suggestion. A more accurate description
would be "the two cancer hospitals with the best survival rates as
compiled by the National Cancer Institute". When I was seeking
treatment, I was referred to Memorial Sloan Kettering by friends at the
National Cancer Institute. I was not totally convinced that it was the
hospital for me and went to a General Hospital for a second opinion. It
is always a struggle to chose between a "caring" environment and one less
personable that is more aggressive in approach. I have no regrets about
my choice because of the outcome that I experienced.
Again my thanks. I guess I get so enthused about my success to date that
I want to share the same outcome with everyone who is on this journey.
There is no "best" hospital, provider, treatment...just what has worked
for each of us. And we share that information here along with our love,
caring and support.
God Bless,
John
