my dad has recently been diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas....we are prob.
going to enroll in a clinical trial, since the results with traditional chemo
(gemzar or 5FU) do not look that promising. does anyone have any info on the
clinical trial which might offer the best hope for recovery or remission? we
have heard about a trial using marimistat and gemzar in combination vs. the
control which would be gemzar and a placebo. the cancer has spread (some
small lessions throughout the abdomen) but is not appearing in any other major
organ.
