I don't have a clinical answer for you. I just had my right lung removed
on November 3rd and continue to use the little breathing machine that they
give you to prevent pneumonia, but I also got a treadmill and am using it
everyother day to build my breathing and lung capacity. I don't know if
this helps you at all, but it has helped me alot. I have my breathing
capacity up to 1750 - 2000 i.e, almost 2 liters which is really good. I
find that when I quit walking on the treadmill, it decreases again...
