I have just been told that I have primary liver caner that is
unresectable. I am starting a six week progam at the University of
Michigan Nov. 9, l997 which combines chemo with radiation therapy twice
a day for two weeks. The chemo will go through the hepatic artery
directly to the liver to make the liver better able to accept the
radiation. After two weeks I will be home for two weeks then back again
for two more weeks of treatment. Drs. McGinn and Ensminger are the
head of the program for my treatment...Dr. Lawrence also works with Dr.
McGinn. I would like to communicate with someone that has been
through this program and would be interested to know how well they are
doing. Thanks!
