I'm a 39 YO White female. At a routine doctor's visit, I told my
doctor that when I gave blood, my hemoglobin screen was 17.3, and the
phlebotomist remarked she had never seen a "score" so high in a woman.
My platelet count was 792, up from the 600's earlier this year and in
years past. My doctor wasn't in today when I got there to have another
test drawn. I asked one of the nurses what elevated platelet count
could be an indication for, so she copied off a couple pages from one of
her books. I've spent the last hour or so pulling off the
internet everything to do with ET that I've been able to find.
Needless to say, I'm a little concerned. Please send me any info you
have.
